Significant experience in supporting businesses in developing, refining and achieving their objectives, Stephen possesses strategic and financial experience, which has enabled him to successfully facilitate multi-million-dollar acquisitions as well as comprehensive business growth through management expertise and flotations. His operational, non executive and executive board-level experience has spanned both established businesses, shell operations, and start-up enterprises across oil, not-for-profit, show business and many other business activities. Stephen is proactive and pragmatic in his approach and is recognised as a sensible voice in the board room, whose strength lies in leading from the front. Commercially aware, he brings an extensive and diverse background, ability and network and can effectively communicate across all levels of seniority. Rebranded the shell operation, Netcentric Systems Plc, to TomCo Energy Plc, transforming the previously defunct company into a multi-million-dollar oil shale business in the USA. Organised a $2m investment into EcoShale technology following a £5m refinance and floated the business 0n AIM on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

Co-founded Support for Africa, acting as a trustee and organising fundraising events that facilitated the construction of five general health clinics in Nigeria and Cameroon, as well as helping to fund a school in Lesotho that was built by Prince Harry’s charity, Sentebale

Grew Security Research Group Plc from “shell” status with a negative asset position to a highly successful holding company with five disparate subsidiaries and more than £2m in profits, floating the business on OFEX and then AIM on the LSE, where he initiated and managed the flotation of Avatar Systems Inc on NASDAQ in the USA.

Stephen Komlosy, retired as CEO of TomCo Energy Plc in March 2012, having had over 50 years experience as an entrepreneur; creating businesses and public companies both in the UK and the USA. As founder of AIM quoted Security Research Group Plc (formerly PSG Solutions Plc), he took the company from “shell” status to over £2m profits. Previously, he was instrumental in the flotations of PremiSys Plc and Netcentric Systems Plc on AIM and Avatar Systems Inc on NASDAQ (Oil business Accounting).
He co-founded Branon Ltd a listed industrial holding company, which he floated on the LSE, in the supply of oil drilling equipment to the North Sea oil business, oil consoles and manufacturing for the MOD. At Branon, he was director in charge of the launch of Cavendish Petroleum Inc, an Ohio Oil & Gas producer. Co-founder of LPO, a London West End property & theatre owner (Cambridge & Regent) and West End producer; the MD of LSE listed Pavilion Leisure Ltd and director of Inter-European Property Holdings Ltd, a property and film producer, which he reversed into an LSE "shell".
In the 1950s & 60s he managed top pop stars and writer Lionel Bart and produced hit singles. With his wife Patti Boulaye he is Trustee of the charity which she founded, Support for Africa www.supportforafrica.org.
Stephen took TomCo from “shell” status through the £5m acquisition of Oil Shale leases in Utah containing 230m barrels of oil; £5m refinancing; negotiating from Red Leaf Resources Inc a $2m Licence for the EcoShaleTM method of extracting oil from oil shale, a £3.5m Placing in and the re-introduction AIM in July 2011. TomCo is in preparation stage for a planned 9500 barrels a day facility. Since 1964, he built up three private property companies, two being amalgamated with public companies. He was a founder and Senior Partner in the corporate finance consultancy, City & Westminster Corporate Finance LLP which is regulated and authorised by the FCA.
He is a member of MENSA.
Since 2012 he has been writing and as an author has had two books published in 2021, "You've Got to Pick a Pocket or Two" about his brush with the Mafia whilst managing Lionel Bart published by Kaleidoscope Publishing www.tvbrain.info/shop and "Flight of the Rainbow Flame" published by Austin Macauley later in 2021, a sci-fi novel. He also writes children's books.
